Az idei szezonkezdet elején is több gyártó által szervezett abroncs bemutatójára kaptunk meghívást és tesztelési lehetőséget. Természetesen most sem hagytunk ki egyetlen alkalmat sem, így útra keltünk Barcelonába a Dunlop SportSmart MK3 premierjére.

Az ilyen jellegű tesztek, bemutatók az abroncs teljes körű megismeréséről szólnak. Technikai oldalról egy sűrű prezentációban mutatják be az új technológiai eljárásokat, miben fejlődött az abroncs, mik azok a területek melyeken tökéletesíteni kellett egy előző szériához képest. Másfelől ott van maga az éles teszt is ahol megtapasztalhatjuk ezeknek az újításoknak az előnyeit és leszűrhetjük az első benyomásokat az új gumiról.

A Dunlop sikerességéről és népszerűségéről minden elárul, hogy csak a hypersport szegmensben az előző szezonban közel 2 millió darab abroncsot értékesítettek. Ez köszönhető a fejlesztési versenyben gyakorlatilag az élen járó gyártónak, hisz sportgumik terén (ami természetesen több ágra bontható) szintén évente jelennek meg új abroncsok. Gondolok itt a SportSmart 2 MAX, D213, SportSmart TT, és a most debütáló MK3-ra. Ezeknek az abroncsoknak a tudása és minősége kategórián belül is a legjobbak közé sorolja az adott mintázatokat. Gyári első szerelésként Európában a top10 eladott motorkerékpárból 5 motoron Dunlop abroncs feszül, míg a top50-es listában is 19-re szerelnek ettől a gyártótól abroncsot.

Sokak számára kicsit száraznak és unalmasnak tűnő prezentációból sok érdekes részletet tudhatunk meg az abroncsról. Minden esetben kiemelik a MIÉRT kérdésekre adott választ, mégpedig, hogy miért volt szükség egy új abroncs kifejlesztésére, ismét. Aztán gyorsan rájövünk, hogy valóban megvan rá a piaci igény. Valóban jól teljesít nedves aszfalton, ezt később részletezem a gyakorlati tapasztalatok során.

Első érzésre csak annyit tapasztalunk, hogy a motor szinte magától kanyarodik és beesik a kanyarokba.

Kiemelendő a DFF vagyis Dynamic Front Formula és CTSS ami a Carcass Tension Control System. Előbbi a dinamikus torzulásért felelős, amit egy már meglévő gyártástechnológiai eljárás modernizálásával egészítettek ki - a peremhuzal elhelyezésében és ennek vastagságában keresendő. Régebbi modellek esetén a peremhuzal egy vastagabb szálból tevődött össze. Ennek hátránya a nagyobb merevség. Ennél az abroncsnál viszont 3 vékonyabb, és ami fontos: külön álló szálakból készül, ezáltal az abroncs oldala és szerkezete nagyobb torzulást enged, ami nagyban segíti a biztos manőverezhetőséget és irányíthatóságot, ami pedig csökkenti a bekormányzáshoz szükséges erőt. A másodjára említett eljárás pedig az abroncsban lévő egyenletes nyomás kialakulásáért felelős. Ez csak modern versenyabroncsoknál jellemző, tehát ami azt bizonyítja, hogy a lehető legújabb és legbiztonságosabb abronccsal motorozhatunk. Ezt tovább erősíti az a tény is, hogy a Dunlop GP PRO verseny abroncs széria első abroncsok karkaszához szinte teljesen hasonló felépítést kapunk, akárcsak a Dunlop TT esetén. Kell ennél több?!

Ami még érdekesség az az abroncsok profilja. Mivel 90%-ban utcai motorozásra szánják az abroncsot ezért igen fontos a komfortérzet és az abroncsok visszajelzése. Ennek érdekében, ugyan csak minimálisan is, de az első és hátsó gumi egyaránt „szélesebb” lett az előző generációkhoz képest. (ezt egy másik márka egyik legújabb gumijánál is alkalmazták. Aki figyelmes olvasónk és tudja melyik gumiról van szó, kommentben megírhatja nekünk) Ez leginkább felépítésben és metszeti ábrán látható, de fontos tényező az abroncs viselkedése során. Rengeteg gyakorlati ábrával kényeztettek minket, melyben különböző helyzetekben vizsgálták konkurensekhez és házon belüli abroncsokhoz képest a gumi egyes tulajdonságit. Néhány % javulás vizes úton, köridőben, mérhető tapadásban, kopásban stb. Érezhető a fejlődés az új generációban.

Na, de nézzük a gyakorlati tapasztalatokat, amire a következő nap került sor legtöbben úgyis erre vagytok kíváncsiak. A program viszonylag egyszerű és egyértelmű volt, bőrruha, sisak, csizma fel és irány a spanyol szerpentinek és délután a versenypálya, mely a Parcmotor Circuit volt. A motorok igen vegyesek voltak, kisebb/nagyobb gépek különböző kategóriákból. Naked bike, sportmotor, magasabb építésű túra jellegű gépek, melyek általános 17” méretekkel voltak szerelve. Ez ilyenkor azért is előny, mert eltérő motorokon tudjuk figyelni a gumik viselkedését.

A reggel szokatlanul hűvösen indult gyönyörű napsütés mellett 10-12°C várt minket. Egy könnyed városi bemelegítéssel kezdtem egy MT09 nyergében. Szokásos városi körülmények, porosabb aszfalt, fényesebb felületek és megszámlálhatatlan körforgalom. Az abroncs normál felhasználás mellett nehezen volt zavarba hozható, sőt kifejezetten jól vizsgázott. A tengerpart mellett vezető szűk tempós szerpentinre egy kifejezetten nagyobb, magasabb gépet választottam, egy BMW S1000XR-t.

Szándékos volt a csere, hisz kíváncsi voltam, hogy egy túraplexivel felszerelt, hosszabb rugóúttal rendelkező kevésbé feszes, ámde borzasztó erős motorral milyen a szűk kanyarokban való manőverezhetőség, és hogyan kezeli a kigyorsításokat az abroncs. Meglepett, hisz a bekormányzási erő minimális volt. Csak kigondoltam a kanyar ívét és a motor máris azt tette, amit én szerettem volna. A lassú tempónál való gyors súlypontáthelyezés és irányváltás is nagyon könnyen ment, és a teligázzal történő kigyorsítások is biztonságosak voltak.

Miután ezen a szakaszon is áthaladtunk az instruktorok említették, hogy egy nagyobb tempós, helyenként vizes rész fog következni, itt szintén a bajor márka másik modelljét az S1000R-t vettem rövid időre a birtokomba. Az abroncs tökéletesen vizsgázott, az erősebb fékezések és a nagyobb tempót igénylő kanyarok során még nedves úton is kiszámítható viselkedést mutatott. Az utak minősége itt hasonló volt a hazai viszonyokhoz, nagy meglepetés nem ért ezzel kapcsolatban, ha ott működött itthon is így kell viselkednie.

Megérkeztünk a versenypálya helyszínére. Az abroncsot mint említettem, 90%-ban utcai használatra szánják, viszont gondolnak azokra a riderekre is, akik évente talán 1-2 alkalommal hobbi szinten ellátogatnak egy versenypályára. A határok feszegetését pedig biztonságos körülmények között csak itt lehet és szabad feszegetni. Nem pályaorientált gumiról beszélünk, viszont egy sport guminak szinte kötelező tudnia minimális szinten az ilyen körülményeket is. Nem mehetek el említés nélkül a mellett, hogy nagyon is tudja. Ez egy Dunlop guminál ahol ilyen gyártástechnológiákat alkalmaznak nem is meglepő.

A 2019-es ZX6-R, mondanom sem kell az egyik legmodernebb 600-as sportgép a piacon. 3x20 perc klasszikus beosztás, profi instruktorok és nagy tempó. Közben az időjárás is kegyes volt, 22°C napsütés, nem is kell több egy szezont indító kis bemelegítő pályázáshoz. A gumi végig kiszámíthatóan viselkedett az igen tempós pályán, mélyre történő befékezéseket engedett, kigyorsítások alkalmával a 636ccm-es erőforrás alig dolgoztatta a kipörgésgátlót. A hosszú nyújtott kanyarokban nem volt kellemetlen „nyúlása” a guminak.

Egy rövid ebéd után jött még az igazi érdekesség. A szervezők a célegyenesben egy előre megtervezett pályát alakítottak ki bóják segítségével, telepített esőztető rendszerrel másfél órán keresztül gyakorlatilag centis vízréteget képeztek a felületen. Itt kettő dolgot vizsgáltunk: a nedves felületen való kezelhetőséget, és a csizmám vízelnyelő képességét. Előbbi mindenkit érdekelt, utóbbi csak engem foglalkoztatott.
Gyakorlatilag mindent ki kellett próbálnunk: nagy tempóról vészfékezést, bóják kerülgetését, hirtelen irányváltást, 8-ast leírni a motorokkal szűk helyen a tudásunkhoz mérhető legnagyobb tempóval és dőlésszögben stb. Nem mehetünk el szó nélkül a mellett, hogy egy tiszta versenypályáról beszélünk, ami kellően meleg és szennyeződésektől mentes. Szinte ideális körülmények, a gumi senkit nem állított megoldhatatlan szituáció elé, személy szerint megcsúszás mentesen oldottam meg minden feladatot.

Konklúzió: a piac egyik legjobb szupersport abroncsa, csak ajánlani tudjuk.

A fő kérdés tehát, hogy kinek javasoljuk ezt a gumit: gyakorlatban azt tudom mondani, hogy az utca motorosának kivétel nélkül. Miért? Sportgumihoz mérten hosszú élettartammal rendelkezik, így a hosszabb túrázóknak is egy remek választás, továbbá azoknak, akik igyekeznek kiaknázni a motorjukban lévő potenciált.
