Két specialista, két tesztmotor, két gumiteszt - első rész

Talán sokan emlékeztek még rá, augusztusban nálunk járt a Dunlop tesztflotta két motorja, egy Harley Davidson Breakout, és egy BMW S1000 XR. Vallatásukról, és a felszerelt abroncsok vizsgáztatásáról két szakértő kollégánk gondsokodott, akik hosszú heteken keresztül pakolgatták beléjük a kilométereket.

Miután mindketten próbát tettek mindkét kétkerekűvel, a Harley végül is Norbinál kötött ki, az MK3-al szerelt BMW-t pedig Roland kezdte el hosszabb távon nyüstölni.

Benyomásaikat, élményeiket, és legfőképpen az abroncsok viselkedéséről megírt tapasztalataikat két részletben mutatjuk nektek.

Lássuk először Roland kalandjait az MK3-al!

Az első találkozásom a Dunlop SportSmart MK3 mintázatával idén áprilisban történt, amikor a Dunlop meghívásos alapú rendezvényén vettünk részt a Slovakia Ringen. Eredetileg a saját pályamotorommal teszteltem volna a Dunlop hobbikategóriás mintás versenygumiját a Gp Racert. A motorom azonban az utolsó pillanatban sajnos nem készült el, így csak kísérőként érkeztem a pályára.

Szerencsére a bőrruhám nálam volt, és a Dunlop kisegített egy Fireblade tesztmotorral, ami éppen az új MK3-al volt szerelve. Ez dupla öröm volt számomra, mivel Norbi kollégám korábban már agyondicsérte az új mintázatot a Spanyol teszt után, így én is nagyon kíváncsi voltam mit fog nyújtani a versenypályán. Nagyon jó összehasonlítási alapom volt, mert egy ugyanilyen Fireblade-el már volt szerencsém motorozni egy Spanyol pályán. Az akkori motor a Dunlop SportSmart TT-vel volt szerelve, ami egy lépéssel közelebb áll a versenyabroncsokhoz. Az MK3 ezzel szemben kifejezetten közúti használatra fejlesztett szupersport abroncs, ezért nagyon érdekelt mik lesznek a valódi különbségek a gyakorlatban.

Utcai gumi lévén gumimelegítő nélkül mentem fel a 20 perces etapra, és az első pozitív benyomást az keltette bennem, hogy volt egyfajta azonnali tapadás, ami az első méterektől rendelkezésedre áll, és innen fokozódott a tapadásérzet. Lényeges különbség a TT-vel szemben, hogy az MK3 nem Nteches, ami azt jelenti, hogy az abroncs váza nincs felkészítve az alacsony légnyomáson való üzemeltetésre (ennek csak versenypályán van jelentősége). A magasabb légnyomás miatt kisebb felületen érintkezik, tehát gyorsabban melegszik az adott érintkezési felület (nagyobb felületen jobban eloszlik a hő). Ez egyfelől nagyon jó bemelegedési időt tesz lehetővé, másrészről viszont a 20 perc végére ugyan tapadásvesztést nem érzékeltem, de a boxban a kopáskép elég informatív volt, és bizony látszott, hogy kissé melege volt az MK3-nak ezen a gyors pályán.

A másik „kifogásolható” jellemző amit tapasztaltam a fékezés hatására érzékelhető felegyenesedési hajlam. A TT ebben is zseni volt, az MK3-at kicsit birkózósabb volt az íven tartani amikor kanyarban kellett megfékezni a motort ( a slovakia ringen bőven van ilyen). Összességében elmondható, hogy olyan körülmények közé helyeztem az MK3-at amibe közúton soha nem fog kerülni, és nagyon szépen helyt állt.

Ekkor már tudtam, hogy közúton nem lehet majd rá panasz…

A következő lehetőségem újra találkozni az MK3-al augusztusban adódott, amikor egy hosszabb távú tesztre kaptunk két remek motort a Dunloptól. Az egyik egy BMW S1000XR volt, amit a SportSmart MK3-al szereltek. Örültem a lehetőségnek, mert végre ott próbálhattam ki az új terméket, ahová eredendően szánta a gyártó, ráadásul egy extrém erős motoron, így minden adott volt egy jó teszthez.

Amire kíváncsi voltam a pályateszt után, hogy valós körülmények között, például egy hűvös reggelen milyen szintű tapadás áll a rendelkezésemre, és milyen gyorsan fokozódik az abroncsok melegedésével, illetve hogyan alakul a különböző aszfaltminőségeken. A BMW elektronikája nagyon jó partner volt ehhez, mert az első generációs kipörgésgátlókhoz mérten sokkal intelligensebb és bizonyos mértékig a játékot is engedi. Finoman csúszik, tartott gáznál végig engedi a szolid driftet, és csak akkor szól bele, ha tovább vadulnál. Így nem aggódtam akkor sem, ha reggeli hűvös aszfalton, gyalogátkelő felfestésével keresztezett hosszú balos íven gyorsítottam 1-eseben a 160 lóerős BMW-t. A csúszás nagyon kiszámítható volt, és sokkal kontrolláltabb mint amire számítottam egy hideg sportgumitól. A 8 km-es munkába vezető út második felében már nem is nagyon sikerült megúsztatni. Ez rettentő magabiztos érzést nyújtott a motoron, és talán ennél fontosabb jellemző nincs is ha sportgumiról beszélünk. A lámpák előtt kifényesített aszfalton átvihető fékerőre szintén nem lehetett panasz.

Talán egyszer éreztem bizonytalanságot a tapadásra vonatkozóan egy olyan gyanús fehér aszfalton ahol az út textúrája miatt a tapasztalt motoros azonnal visszavesz 30%-al. Itt még utassal is sodródásra lehetett bírni a motor hátulját, amikor kanyarból a gázra nyúltam. Ezt az útminőség rovására írtam. Az MK3 irányíthatósága szintén érdekes témakör. Amikor a pályázásra is alkalmas TT-t teszteltem, a Dunlop mérnökei elmondták, hogy a TT egy gyors gumi, annak is tervezték. Ennek megfelelően a profilkiképzése a nagysebességű kanyarokban nyújt extra stabilitást, ami közvetlen hatással van az alacsony sebességen történő manőverezhetőségére, amiben viszont nem brillírozik a TT. Az MK3 ebben teremt egy jó egyensúlyt. Már alacsony sebességen is nagyon kezes, nagyon természetesek vele az irányváltások, ugyanakkor nagyobb kanyarsebességnél is megfelelő stabilitást nyújt. A különbségek valószínűleg versenypályán bizonyos tempó felett lennének érzékelhetők a TT-vel szemben. Az én lazább stílusú 20 perces Slovakia Ringes motorozásom alkalmával nem derült fény erre a különbségre. Talán a nagyobb felegyenesesdési hajlamot is a profilbeli különbségek miatt érzékeltem.

Egy dolgot sajnálok egy kicsit, hogy szűk egy hónap alatt nem sikerült esőben is kipróbálnom az új Dunlopot. Elázni persze senki sem szeret (én sem), de most mégis jó lenne, ha be tudnék számolni a nedvestapadási jellemzőkről. A gyártó ugyanis kifejezetten büszke arra, hogy olyan sportabroncsot alkottak, ami kiemelkedően biztonságos nedves útfelületen is. Ez egyfelől a magasabb mintázottsági aránynak köszönhető, másrészt pedig az adalékolásnak. A szilika adalék például kifejezetten elősegíti a nedves tapadást, és a gyors bemelegedést, azonban extrém hőhatás esetén (pl versenypálya) könnyen kicsapódik, így sokat romlik az abroncs teljesítménye. A TT például ezért nem tartalmaz szilika adalékot, hiszen egy pálya edzést követően meg kell őriznie a teljesítményét a közúti motorozáshoz, és a következő pályanapon is teljesítenie kell. Erre találta ki a gyártó. Az MK3 adalékolása azonban kifejezetten a közúti motorozást segíti elő, a gyors bemelegedéssel, a kiemelkedő nedves és hűvös úton, illetve az ideálistól eltérő útfelületeken nyújtott tapadásával. Ez azért kell, hogy a lóerőben 160 plusszos sportmotorokkal is mindig megfelelő magabiztossággal közlekedhessünk közúton, és persze mindig egyben érjünk haza.

A közel egy hónapos teszt alatt én egyszer sem estem ki a komfortomból a gumik miatt és véleményem szerint ez a legnagyobb elismerése egy abroncsnak, ha közúton motorozunk sportosan. Részemről az eddig tapasztaltak alapján a maximálisan ajánlott kategóriába sorolom a SportSmart MK3 mintázatot.
