Két specialista, két tesztmotor, két gumiteszt - második rész

Az augusztusi tesztidőszak másik főszereplője a Dunlop American Elite abroncsokkal felszerelt  vadonatúj Harley Davidson Breakout volt.

A brnói hazautat követő napokban több kollégánk is kipróbálhatta a fenevadat, és egyhangúlag merőben pozitív visszajelzést adtak a géppel, és az gumikkal kapcsolatban egyaránt.

A kezdeti próbák után a hosszú távú gumikoptatást Norbi kollégánk vállalta magára, az ő élményei következnek.

 


Az abroncsot egy igen exkluzív gépre szerelték fel, egy 2019-es Harley Davidson Breakoutra, (ráadásul a nagyobb 114 köbinches változatra). Nagy érdeklődéssel vártuk, hisz többünk számára minden terület újdonságként jelentkezett. A hosszútávúnak mondható nagyjából 2000 kilométeres út során gyakorlatilag minden szituációban ki tudtuk próbálni a motort és az abroncsot is. 

Középpontban természetesen az abroncsok lesznek, de azért a motorról is ejtünk néhány szót, itt az elején - mert tudjuk, úgyis kíváncsiak vagytok rá. Röviden: egy szemet gyönyörködtető, tekinteteket vonzó igazi bestiáról van szó. Méreteihez mérten könnyen motorozható, erőtartalékokkal bőven rendelkező motor járt nálunk. Nagyon szerettük és sajnáljuk, hogy hamar vissza kellett adni.

Nézzük az abroncsot, hiszen nekünk mégiscsak ez a legfontosabb egy ilyen teszt során! Leginkább azokra az erényekre próbáltunk fényt deríteni, amelyek egy ilyen újabb modellnél jelentkeznek. Elmondhatnánk, hogy miben más, mint egy régebbi abroncs, mik azok a változtatások, amelyeket eszközöltek azért, hogy előrelépés legyen tapasztalható. Ezek azonban mind száraz technikai leírások, nem igazán kézzel foghatóak, ezért inkább leírjuk nektek azokat a gyakorlati tapasztalatokat, amelyeket a motorozások során tapasztaltunk és kiderítettünk.



A teszt első fázisa a - számunkra hazai futamnak tekinthető - brnói MotoGP futamról történő hazaút volt. A véget nem érő autópályázás, ami közel 600 km megtétele elé állított minket gyakorlatilag események nélkül történt. Az abroncsról tudni kell, hogy a tervezők figyeltek a tartósságra, ami kiemelten fontos ennél a kategóriánál, hiszen a legtöbb motor igen nehéz, és sokan szeretnek utassal és csomagokkal nekivágni a hosszú utaknak. Kellemetlen lenne pár ezer km után gumit cserélni. Nos, a megtett távon egyáltalán nem volt sem mérhető sem szemmel látható mértékű kopás, amit pozitívan vettük. De talán nem is ez a legfontosabb, hiszen sokan az abroncs egyéb tulajdonságait tartják fontosnak. Legtöbben a kiváló tapadást és a motor könnyű kezelhetőségét veszik figyelembe és ezt fontos kitételnek tartják a gumiválasztás során.

Az American Elite-t tipikusan ’Harley méretekben’ készítik és meg kell hagyni, egy ilyen gépnél erény tud lenni a könnyű manőverezőképesség, amit a gumi is nagymértékben befolyásol. Mint említettem a mi autópályás szakaszunk ~5-600 km volt. Itt az egyenes futáson, komforton, menetzajon stb. kívül mást nem tudtunk vizsgálni, ezekben azonban remekelt az abroncs. Fontos a mintaárkok kialakítása és elhelyezése, hiszen a legnagyobb zajforrás ez, de ezek elhelyezéséből adódóan nem volt negatív észrevételünk.

Leginkább a hátul 240/40-18 míg elől 130/60-21-es abroncsok tapadása és a motor irányítása érdekelt. Előbbi egy fontos tényező, utóbbi talán egy ekkora tengelytávú és nagy villaszögű motornál egyébként sem túl egyszerű.



Az üléspozíció és a motor építési módja miatt a kényelmes közlekedés nem kihívás, abroncs terén pedig végképp nem, hiszen ezt bármelyik gyártó terméke tudni fogja. Viszont a kérdés….mi a helyzet, ha úgy döntünk, mégis haladósabbra vesszük a dolgot?! Meglepő módon a motor nagy tempóban is kiszámítható stabilitással vette a fordulókat, az abroncs részéről pedig semmilyen bizonytalanság nem jelentkezett.

Ami talán egyedüli „negatívumként ” említhető - ha ezt egyáltalán az abroncs számlájára írhatjuk - az az agresszív elindulás. Hozzáteszem inkább csak élveztük a közel 1900ccm adta bődületes nyomatékot és lendítő erőt, amit ez az erőforrás produkált. Városban lámpától való elinduláskor szinte úgy éreztük, mintha csúzliból lőtték volna ki a motort. Itt nem a gumin múlott, hogy a tapadás 100%-ban átjusson az aszfaltra. Legtöbben sportmotorral közlekedünk, és gyakran látogatunk pályanapokat, így a sportos közlekedés egyikőnktől sem áll távol. Talán nem ez a legalkalmasabb gép erre, viszont a gumik tapadása még akkor sem volt kevés, amikor a lábtartó finoman karcolni kezdte az aszfaltot jelezve, hogy ezt ne erőltessük tovább.




A hazaút után néhány hazai szerpentinnel is megkínáltuk a Harley-t, néhol lendületesebb, máshol pedig kényelmesebb tempóban mindezt úgy, hogy egyikőnk sem gyűjtött negatív kritikát az abroncsokról.  Az építési mód miatt a hosszabb lendületesebb kanyarok jobban feküdtek a motornak, itt az abroncs is tökéletesen vizsgázott, a széles lapos hátsó abroncsot könnyedén lehetett teljes mértékben kidönteni. A rövidebb fordulókban történő lassabb kanyartempó miatt agresszíven lehetett azokat a hátunk mögött hagyni és még nagyobb feladat elé állítani az American Eliteket. Ilyen szituációkban sem tapasztaltunk enyhe mocorgást sem, tökéletes tapadást biztosított nekünk a gumi.

Extravagáns, modern mintázata jól illik egy fiatal motor összképéhez, a Harley felirattal és logóval ellátott oldalfal pedig tudatja velünk itt a spórolásnak nincs helye, a legmagasabb minőséget kapjuk amit ma elvárhatunk.

Összességében pozitívan zárultak az együtt töltött kilométerek, mindenkinek bátran ajánljuk ezt a gumit, garantáljuk hogy szeretni fogjátok.
